- Castleberry's has been in business since 1926 and is native to Augusta, founded by Clement Stewart Castleberry with the help of his father Clement Lamar Castleberry. The company grew from a payroll of two to over 400 workers at its peak. Castleberry's was sold by the Castleberry family in 1991 to Robert Kirby. Kirby later sold the company to Connors Brothers Limited, parent company of Bumble Bee Foods of Toronto, Canada. Castleberry beef stew includes ingredients you would find in any homemade beef stew, including beef, beef stock, potatoes, carrots, and peas. This case of hearty beef stew is enough to serve 48- 8 oz portions. Great for camping or feeding a group of campers or a captive audience in a school, college or any sort of commissary.
